Osteomed | Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Osteomed – Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery – Implants, plates, and screws for oral and maxillofacial and cranial surgery.

With an innovative spirit and constant focus on quality, Osteomed offers complete solutions for neurosurgical and craniomaxillofacial procedures, combining technology, precision, and safety in every detail.

  • The CFx system consists of plates, screws, and instruments designed for the fixation of craniofacial, maxillofacial, and mandibular fractures. A single kit meets different rigid fixation needs—from pediatric craniofacial surgeries to mandibular trauma in adults.

  • The MFx system was developed for fixation and reconstruction of mandibular fractures, ensuring stability and excellent anatomical adaptation.

  • The locked angled fixation system offers up to 20° of angulation freedom in the 2.0 mm and 2.4 mm plate and screw options, providing the surgeon with greater flexibility and precision in assembly.

Given the intense muscular forces exerted on the jaw, locked systems ensure a more secure and stable fixation, creating a completely rigid bone-plate-screw interface free of micro-movements.

Osteomed | OSA System

The OSA – Supra Orthognathic Advancement System is a compact module with pre-curved plate configurations for rigid fixation of Le Fort I osteotomies, bilateral sagittal osteotomies, and genioplasty procedures.

Pre-curved maxillary plates allow for advances of up to 12 mm, and preformed reinforcement plates minimize the need for contouring. Double-row BSSO plates are configured for advances of 6 mm to 14 mm.

ISO chin plates are designed for advances from 4 mm to 12 mm.

Logic™ Jr. – Pediatric Mandibular Retractor

Logic™ Jr. is a pediatric intraoral mandibular distractor designed for use in patients under 4 years of age, including newborns. The system features straight or curved bars and is adapted to smaller, more delicate anatomies.

The device is secured using 1.2-mm screws, which are suitable for children’s bone structure, ensuring stability with minimal tissue trauma. As with the adult version, the activation mechanism uses a threaded wire operated by a hex key, allowing for controlled distraction of up to 25 mm.

It is indicated for stabilization, lengthening, and/or bone transport in cases of congenital deformities or post-traumatic defects of the mandible (ramus, body, symphysis, and alveolar ridge). The system is for single-use only and is not reusable or reprocessable.

Logic™ – Mandibular Distractor

Logic™ is an intraoral mandibular distractor designed for osteogenic mandibular distraction procedures. The system consists of straight or curved bars, allowing for adaptation to the patient’s anatomy and the desired distraction vector.

Bone fixation is achieved using 1.6 mm or 2.0 mm screws, ensuring stability throughout the procedure. The activation mechanism uses a threaded wire operated by a hex key, allowing for precise control of distraction, with an extension capacity of up to 25 mm.

The device is indicated for the correction of mandibular deformities, such as micrognathia and hemifacial microsomia, promoting gradual and predictable bone growth while respecting the natural trajectory of the mandible.
